“I couldn’t find a well-structured budget app without recurring fees – so I built one.”

I spent a long time searching for a budget app that offered the structure and depth I need every day, but didn’t charge recurring fees. Everything I tried either lacked real organization, loaded tracking SDKs, or wanted my bank credentials in someone else’s cloud.

So I decided to build Clink myself, an app I personally use every single day.

Clink offers an optional integration with iOS Shortcuts. You set up a personal automation in the Shortcuts app that sends Apple Pay (NFC) transaction details to Clink as you pay. Once Clink has learned your payment cards and merchants, it automatically assigns new payments to the right category and virtual account.

You create a rule – for example monthly rent – and Clink projects it onto your calendar and budgets. You can adjust or skip a single occurrence (say the heating bill changes for one month) or modify all future payments, without breaking the series.
